CELTIC DRAGONS FIXTURES 2010 - 2011

North-East Wales Netball meeting

Introduction
 Committee Officials
Thanks to all the committee for their hard work and continued support. Teressa & Joy, who have continued to communicate with you all, Tracey who has not been able to attend all our meetings but has done an excellent job – a big ‘Congratulations’ on the birth of your son in March, welcome Matt Dillon Pritchard. Again, John Edwards our Publicity Officer has regularly sent reports to the newspapers sometimes with very little information to go on and this has kept ‘Netball’ in the news and journalists are at last recognising that our game is something people like to read about. Our umpiring secretary, Becky Jones, retired from the position early on in the season due to new work commitments so this is now a vacant position. Anneka O’Connor, our North East Netball Development Officer has continued to offer courses to coaches and umpires and these have been advertised on our web site and of course on our governing body web site – The Welsh Netball Association.

Web site
Thanks to Rob Douglas of rob@jmrwebsolutions.co.uk who has continued to give me a nudge when our web site begins to look untidy and uploads the things that I have not got the expertise to do.

Future
All our committee members have now been elected and to those whose nomination was successful I ask for you to give them your support to continue to raise the standards of netball in North-East Wales. Your input on how the Association works is important and with this we can continue to go forward.

Thank you
Merle Hamilton
Chairperson – North East Wales Netball Association
